Playground Opening

District 4 DeKalb Commissioner awarded Friends of Hairston Park a $142,000 grant in 2017 to build a new playground and a pavilion and to add amenities. The playground opened in 2018. Our special guest, 1984 Olympic Gold Medalist Sam Gaddy once lived in our community.

Discovering the second lake at Hairston Park!

Saturday, March 3rd, volunteers in surrounding areas endeared the cold temperature at 43 degrees to clear privet and reveal trails that lead to Hairston Park’s second lake. Thanks to our volunteers, park goers can now view the second lake at Hairston Park and enjoy the trails!

Greater Hidden Hills Community Development Corporation Plants Trees

Thank you to GHHCDC, who planted 26 trees as part of the ongoing streetscape improvement in Greater Hidden Hills!
