Come out and join FOHP and the Delta LDC incorporated as we install a Little Library for the children in the community to promote literacy.

We have started to make preparations for the first day of fall! Volunteers worked to weed, remove unwanted debris, and transport soil to our garden beds. This is one of many workdays that support our initiatives with the Serenity Garden Project.

Annual Park Prescription Day April 28, 2019
FOHP was one of many Friends of Park groups hosting DeKalb County Health Department’s 1st Annual Park RX Day. Using parks to reduce stress, improve mental health, and participate in physical activities are all just what the doctors order. We celebrated a day of good health with health screenings, games, yoga, healthy snacks, short hikes, and more. Play in the park! Walk! Do yoga! Have fun!
