The Friends of Hairston Park were joined by Interim Parks Director Marvin Billups and DeKalb County Commissioners Steve Bradshaw and Gregory Adams.

The 33-acre new and park is receiving its first pavilion, water fountain, (accessible to adults, children, and dogs), grills, picnic tables, park benches, thanks to $142,000.00 from Commissioner Bradshaw District 4 park bond money.

Thank you to DeKalb Parks and Recreation department, the park will received brand new and improved playground!
